About Me

I am fortunate to have grown up in Millard where there are great schools and great community.

That’s why I moved back here to start my family after studying at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. We are proud to make Millard our home.

I’m also proud to be a regular transit user. Most days, you’ll find me riding the Millard Express to my job downtown. Why? Because it’s convenient and easy on the wallet.

Now I want to get more people in our district excited about transit.

I have over 10 years of experience in transportation strategy for the Omaha Metro area. I have contributed to many of our region’s transit initiatives. I’ve worked on ConnectGO from the Greater Omaha Chamber, MetroNEXT from Metro, and initial planning for the Omaha Streetcar project.

I want to keep building better options for our community and for our riders.

My Vision

  • The rider should always come first.
  • Our transit system should be reliable, on time, and get you where you need to be.
  • Vehicles and facilities should be properly cared for, functional, and kept clean.

  • Getting to transit should be safe and barrier free.
  • Whether you’re driving, walking, or rolling our transit system should be accessible to everyone, including seniors and riders with disabilities.

  • Our transit authority should continue to grow their investment in technology that benefits the rider.
  • They should leverage partnerships with local governments, businesses, and other organizations.

I want a transit authority that has the tools to serve its primary purpose: giving people mobility and access to the things they need, whether that is employment, education, healthcare, community, or entertainment.

We need to ensure that our riders are taken care of and that the transit authority can attract and retain the hardworking drivers, mechanics and other staff that serve our region.

We need thriving public transportation that is ready to move forward with Omaha into the future.
